Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Concord website and the communication support services we offer in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Please read them at your own pace. By accessing our website or booking a session with us, you agree to the terms set out below. If any part is unclear, you are always welcome to write to us before proceeding.

1. Definitions

Throughout these terms, the following words carry the meanings given below:

  • "Concord", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Concord, a family matters information and communication support service operating from 102 Mukkamontri Road, Nai Muang, Muang, Ubon Ratchathani 34000, Thailand.
  • "User", "you", "your" — refers to any person who visits this website or books a session or workshop with us.
  • "Services" — refers to the three support offerings described on our website: the Talking-Points Preparation Session, the Records Tidy & Label Workshop, and the Coordination Plan & Briefing Package.
  • "Content" — refers to all text, materials, guides, checklists, and documents on this website and supplied during our sessions.
  • "Agreement" — refers to these Terms & Conditions, which form the complete agreement between you and Concord regarding use of this website and our services.
  • "Session materials" — refers to printed guides, checklists, folders, and written summaries provided as part of a booked service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or booking any of our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or, if booking on behalf of a family group, that you have the authority to enter into this agreement for all participants.
  • You have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Thai law.
  • You have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them.
  • If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a booking.

We recommend keeping a copy of these terms for your own records.

3. Service Description

Concord provides educational and organizational support sessions for families navigating periods of change. Our three services are offered in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, and are available to individuals and family groups who contact us directly.

Talking-Points Preparation Session

A supportive session helping one or two family members prepare structured talking points for an important conversation. The session is educational and organizational only. A printed guide is included. Duration is approximately 2–3 hours. Price: ฿4,100.

Records Tidy & Label Workshop

A small-group workshop guiding families to gather and clearly label household documents, with referrals to official sources where relevant. Up to six participants. Checklists and folders are included. Duration is approximately half a day. Price: ฿14,800.

Coordination Plan & Briefing Package

A structured package helping a family agree on shared arrangements and produce a clear written summary. Two meetings over one to two weeks. Includes signposting to suitable official resources, a plan document, and a family briefing sheet. Price: ฿33,000.

Services are subject to availability. We may decline to book a session where we consider our services unsuitable for the family's needs, and will say so plainly if that is the case.

4. User Responsibilities

When using this website or attending a session, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when making a booking or completing the contact form.
  • Attend booked sessions on time and notify us in advance if you need to reschedule.
  • Use session materials for personal and household purposes only, not for commercial redistribution.
  • Treat our facilitators and any other participants with courtesy and respect.
  • Not record sessions without the written agreement of Concord and all participants.
  • Not misrepresent our services as professional legal, financial, or psychological advice when sharing information with others.
  • Comply with applicable Thai laws in connection with your use of this website and our services.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, session guides, and checklists — is the property of Concord or its content contributors and is protected under Thai and international intellectual property law.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view this website for the purpose of learning about our services and to use session materials within your own household. This licence does not permit you to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content or session materials commercially.
  • Modify or create derivative works based on our materials without written permission.
  • Remove any copyright or attribution notices.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and include VAT where applicable. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.

  • A booking is confirmed only after we have received full payment or a deposit as agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed during the booking process.
  • If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please contact us as early as possible. Refund terms depend on the notice given and will be shared with you at the time of booking.
  • Sessions cancelled by Concord due to unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled at a time that suits you, or fully refunded if rescheduling is not possible.

7. Service-Specific Terms

The following applies to all three of our services:

  • Sessions are delivered in person at our premises unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Session scope is as described on our website. Any additional time or materials requested beyond the agreed scope may incur an additional fee, which we will discuss with you before proceeding.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to keep appointments but may need to reschedule in exceptional circumstances, giving you as much notice as possible.
  • Session materials are provided for personal household use and remain the intellectual property of Concord.
  • Our services are informational and organizational only. We do not provide legal, financial, psychological, or other regulated professional advice. Where a family's needs fall outside our scope, we will point you toward appropriate official or professional resources.
  • Outcomes from sessions depend on your own circumstances and decisions. We do not make any promises about what results your family will experience.

8. Disclaimers

Our services and website content are provided to the best of our knowledge and care, on the basis described in these terms. We make no promises about:

  • The suitability of our services for your particular family situation.
  • Any particular outcome following attendance at a session or use of our materials.
  • The continuous, uninterrupted availability of this website.
  • The completeness or accuracy of any general information or referrals we provide during sessions.

Our services are supportive and educational in nature. They are not a substitute for qualified legal, financial, or professional counsel, which we always encourage families to seek where needed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Concord's total liability to you in connection with our services or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of our services, including losses arising from decisions made by you or other family members following a session.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Thai consumer protection law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Concord, its facilitators, and staff harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our session materials, or any false or misleading information you provide to us in connection with a booking.

11. Termination

Either party may end the service relationship at any time by giving written notice. If you choose not to continue with a booked service, refund terms as described in Section 6 apply.

We reserve the right to decline future bookings from any person who has breached these terms, behaved in a way that is harmful to our team or other participants, or provided materially false information to us.

Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 of these terms continue to apply after the end of any service relationship.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. The courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or our services.

Before taking any formal step, we encourage you to write to us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter together in a straightforward and respectful way. Most concerns can be addressed quickly with a short conversation.

If informal resolution is not possible, the parties may agree to refer the matter to a mediator before pursuing formal proceedings.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: These terms, together with any written booking confirmation, form the complete agreement between you and Concord.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: A failure by either party to enforce any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these terms to another person without our written consent.
  • Notices: Formal notices to us should be sent in writing by email to [email protected] or by post to our address below.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted briefly on our website.

If you have an active booking at the time of a change, we will let you know directly. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
